Obama and Guantanamo Camp

I am not for Obama, but closing down Guantanamo Camp was one good promise. Not that I am pro-Muslim - war in Afghanistan would have been just if directed with priority for freedom of Christian converts - but that I am anti-camp. Now, can the remaining prisoners be released from camp without doing harm, if no Western Country accepts them? One could perhaps let them turn the camp into a village and bring their wives.
